Vinita Nair

Nair joined the station in July of 2004 and began reporting on many things, including the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was recruited as a reporter for ABC News in December 2007 as an anchor and correspondent for ABC News Now. Her responsibilities included anchoring the live news broadcast, as well as briefings on ABC's online networks. Nair co-anchored World News Now on ABC from September 17 onwards, 2008. up to the 18th of February, 2011, and America This Morning. On both shows, she was initially paired with Jeremy Hubbard. Later she co-anchored the show with Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th February 2011. She would also have her final day working for ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver became her replacement immediately. World News Now, February 18th, featured three tributes to Nair. Current and former colleagues were featured in the segments. When she was done she treated her entire team to breakfast. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
